Position : Accountant - Kampala
We are looking for an Accountant.
Responsibilities :
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Budgeting: Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, analyzing variances between budgeted and actual figures.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
- Auditing: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit queries.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, provide insights, and support decision-making processes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the organization complies with financial regulations and laws.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control costs to enhance profitability, providing recommendations for cost reduction where applicable.
