  • • Organized and coordinated project activities like school-level parent support groups by mobilizing community members and the local council structures to attend meetings organized by the organization. • I also ensured that both activity and monthly reports regarding challenges and achievements of the project, as well as accountabilities for how activity funds have been used, were shared with the implementing partners. • 60% of the parent school groups received certificates of registration with the Buliisa District Local Government, and therefore they now stand as independent entities, which can help them to ensure their sustainability. • Trained parents of children with disabilities on financial literacy and monitored their VSLA activities. • Liaised with the local government and lower local government technocrats and this helped the parents of children with disabilities in these areas to have their issues noted by the respective authorities.
