- I am a data officer at Butemba HC III, working for Mildmay Uganda, an implementing partner supporting MoH. I have worked in this position for 3 years now. As a data officer, I have always managed HMIS records of the health facility, while ensuring timely, accurate and complete documentation of the HMIS tools. I have also used UgandaEMR, an information management system to manage data of ART, TB and EID clients. Besides this, I have always organized and presided over monthly and quarterly performance review meetings. I have been at the forefront of ensuring quality improvement is duly applied in all the departments of the health facility. As a data officer, I have always emphasized data utilization by the health facility to guide decision making.
